Malaysian-Chinese singer-songwriter Emily Soon melts hearts with her vocals. Her buttery voice has been the perfect tool to help her process thoughts, navigate changes in her life, and explore her identity. Taking a break from recording in recent years, Emily honed her writing with a number of amazing mentors including Clare Reynolds, Oh Pep!, and Charles Jenkins.

Her latest single Good Help Is Hard To Find marks the next chapter in Emily’s story, diving deep into finding support amongst the mediocrity and struggle of everyday life.

“A part of me will always crave structure and stability, but as I progress through my twenties, I find myself wanting to release myself from that and to push my boundaries. Not take myself so seriously. Live a little.”

Good Help Is Hard To Find will be launching in Melbourne on 15 June at the Wesley Anne, Northcote, with special guest Meiwa.
