Eric Jiang is a Chinese-Australian writer/director living and working on Gadigal land. His practice uses text as a starting point to bring together varied forms and registers, contemplating queer futures, familial cultural exchange, and joy.

In 2021, Eric was ArtsLab resident (by Shopfront Arts Co-op), for which he created a short art film, combining surreal dialogue, nature and movement. His poetry appears in Peril, Rabbit, Cordite, Going Down Swinging, Voiceworks and more. 

Eric has edited work for The Waiting Room Project, an art space in the Sydney Sexual Health Centre, and he has contributed interview pieces to FBi Radio’s Race Matters.
